On the 20th and 21st of May, we’re gathering at our Cerveceria to welcome a two-day 20 de Mayo Block Party in honor of Cuba’s Independence Day and our One Year Anniversary! We kick-off on Friday May 20th with a VIP experience titled Pa’la Calle.
We’ve partnered with Abre Camino Collective (the creators of The Amparo Experience) to create a wondrous musical journey. Curated and produced in collaboration with Mamacita Rica, and Lucy Lopez, experience a VIP musical journey on Friday May 20th.
The show includes artists like the Grammy-award winning rapper (of Patria y Vida), El Funky, alongside Cachita Lopez, Yoli Mayor, Afrobeta, Nicole Garcia, Cortadito, Raudel (Escuadron Patriota), Oscar G, members of the cast of The Amparo Experience, and DJ Robin. All artists will be accompanied by Dennis Reyes’ Inner Music Band. To top it all off, we’ll have a special treat from the legendary Willy Chirino.
To celebrate Cuba’s independence, we come together. To foreshadow her freedom we unite. The VIP event starts at 7pm and culminates at 10pm. $50 per ticket and all proceeds – 100% — go toward Cuba Decide, The Foundation for Human Rights in Cuba, and to the making of The Martians (the telling of the Cuban and Cuban-American story by Abre Camino Collective). One complimentary beer is included with each ticket.
